Full-Print Sublimated Blankets

Sublimation puts dye into the polyester fibre rather than onto it, so the print cannot crack, peel or wash off — and fleece is polyester, which is why this works so well here and not on cotton.

The catch is the pile. A blanket surface is soft and slightly fuzzy, so fine lines, small type and tight photographic detail get eaten by the nap. We resample artwork for the surface as part of the mockup, which usually means going bolder and larger rather than losing anything.

Full coverage also means the design runs right to the edge with no border, which looks far better than a floating logo on a plain field — and it is the reason sublimated blankets are the ones people actually put on a sofa rather than in a cupboard.
